NEW! PHP and My SQL Web Development I

Instructor: Captain Walt Reppenhagen

PHP is the worlds most popular server-side scripting language. It is realtively easy to use and powerful, allowing users to create robust web pages and applications. It works seamlessly with HTML documents to provide the dynamic capabilities that HTML lacks. PHP typically relies upon MySQL as the database management system of choice. In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of coding in PHP, how to process form data, interface with a MySQL database, create user-defined functions, use Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and write dynamic database-driven web pages. Prerequisite: Students do not need prior programming experience, but knowledge of HTML forms and tables is helpful.
